Jill was a social worker for 20 years until chronic stress and burnout took its toll. After leaving social work, she started to notice how years of stress and lack of self-care had impacted her emotionally and physically. In her quest to heal her mind and body she found herself at the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy where she developed a passion for helping others who experience burnout, compassion fatigue and stress related disturbances. Jill believes healthcare should be holistic, preventative, educational and built on personal relationships. Her experience as a social worker enables her to connect with clients on many levels and is felt in her calm, nurturing and restorative touch.
Jill has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Colorado State University, is a graduate of the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy (CIMT), a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and Certified Neuromuscular Therapist (CNMT). She grew up in Colorado; loves being outside in any season, playing sports, watching hockey and exploring new places.
